This watercolor is of a home located on Concord Street in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.  The owners converted this warehouse into their home.  It is really beautiful.  The painting was a commission.  Click Commissions.  Every brick in the fascade is exact in number and color.  In fact, there are 141 courses of bricks from the bottom to the peak and that almost every seventh row, end bricks were added to give the building more strength.  An article about this building and its owners in the Lancaster Newspapers.  In the article, the owners said that they, "felt lucky that they could get Hermansader to paint their home."   In fact, all the bricks, woodwork, etc. are unbelievably true in reality!  Click Commissions.  This print is available as an open edition.
