This old mill is located on Habecker Road in Columbia, Pennsylvania. Take note to the detail in the building - it is exact. Creekside Cafe, Inc., a popular restaurant across the road, has this particular print hanging on their walls. The owner, Ryan, and the artist are friends and there are other Hermansader prints hanging in the restaurant. If you like turtle soup, try theirs, it is a treat. Whenever the artist stopped by the cafe, he saw a lot of ducks in the creek and on the grass. They, too, are in the painting. One day when driving past the mill to teach art at a local school, the artist saw this dramatic sky. Shortly afterwards, he captured this snowy scene on canvas with oil colors. The details in this painting are magnificent! This print is available as a limited edition and open edition. Individuals have even used this print framed with two openings - one for the print and the other for a photograph. (Wedding, engagement, party photograph, etc.)
