Sickman's Mill in located in Pequea, Pennsylvania and it is 4-1/2 stories tall with 30-inch stone walls. The mill is an authentic, 18th century flour and grist roller mill in working order. The power to operate its wooden-geared machinery comes entirely from the water that runs below it from the Pequea Creek. Camping and tubing can be seen at the mill as well as a haunted adventure at Halloween time. The artist remembers tubing down the Pequea Creek and picnicking afterwards. Note the details the artist captured in this painting - the stonework in the building and its wooden structures, a man carrying a sack of flour at the doorway, Canadian geese in the field, windows lit with candles, snow falling, and a beautiful wintry sky. The detail in this painting is striking! This print is available as a limited edition, open edition, and as a collectible. Individuals have even used this print framed with two openings - one for the print and the other for a photograph. (Wedding, engagement, event, etc.)
