Emblem of Strength – New York City
I started this painting one day after September 11, 2001. Alyssa, my daughter, was working only a few blocks away from the twin towers during the attack. She survived, but the time that it took until I heard from her was like eternity. I contacted the Salvation Army and offered to create a print and sell them in a fundraiser. They agreed, and I donated over $20,000.00 to the Salvation Army in Lancaster, PA, from the sale of this print. Every building from top to bottom is exact. The painting took over two hundred hours to research, photograph and paint.

Saint Patrick’s Cathedral
Saint Patrick's Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. It is the seat of the Archbishop of New York as well as a parish church. I stayed on the ninth floor in a hotel across from Saint Patrick's Cathedral. The view was beautiful.

Statue of Liberty
The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor in New York City. The copper statue, a gift from the people of France to the people of the United States, was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi. Gustave Eiffel built its metal structure. The statue was dedicated on October 28, 1886. I spent a lot of time in New York City, and this is one of favorite sites. See the plane in the sky?

Empire State Building
SOLD! The original painting was sold to David Lewis for $300.00. PRINTS - OPEN EDITION PRINTS (unsigned/unnumbered) are $10.00-$15.00. 'Empire State Building' flat porcelain ornaments are available. The Empire State Building is a 102-story[c] Art Deco skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan in New York City, United States. The building was designed by Shreve, Lamb & Harmon and built from 1930 to 1931.

Rockefeller Center ‘Christmas Tree’
The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is a giant Christmas tree placed annually in Rockefeller Center, in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The tree is erected in mid-November and lit in a public ceremony on the Wednesday following Thanksgiving. Since 1997, the lighting has been broadcast live, to hundreds of millions, on NBC's Christmas in Rockefeller Center telecast on a Wednesday after Thanksgiving. I depicted my daughter, Alyssa, her children, Maggie, Joey, and Michael, talking to Santa .
